Pastor  jimmy

Rev. Jimmy Corbitt is the founding Pastor and visionary of Bethany Baptist Church and has served in gospel ministry for over 50 years in Georgia, Kentucky, and Oklahoma. Jimmy loves to share how he came to trust Christ at the age of 16 through the ministry of Rev. Terry Taylor. Jimmy is a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where he holds a Masters of Divinity degree, and is married to his wonderful wife Susan who serves as the Women's Ministry Director and Women’s Sunday School teacher. Jimmy was a star basketball player in his younger days at Lanier High School before the invention of the three-point line and enjoys golf, singing, and playing the guitar.

Pastor daniel

Rev. Daniel Corbitt is a founding member of Bethany Baptist Church (2001) and has served on staff since 2009 where he currently ministers as the Associate Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Minister of Music. Daniel came to trust Christ in June of 1994 and was ordained into the gospel ministry in 2014, the same year that he married his lovely wife Aubrey. Daniel graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in December of 2015, where he earned an M.Div. with specialization in Worship Ministries. Additionally, Daniel holds a B.A. in Psychology with double minor in Christianity and Music from Mercer University, having led worship there for the local Baptist Campus Ministry. An avid musician both within and without the walls of Bethany, Daniel has performed at Carnegie Hall with his Mercer Singers family and at the Captiol Theatre in downtown Macon. Daniel and Aubrey have two children, David and Michael.

kathy milton

Kathy Milton has been serving on staff as Bethany’s secretarial administrator since June of 2011. Born in Florida, Kathy moved to Macon, GA at an early age and graduated from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, GA. Together, she and her husband Gary have 4 grown children, love to travel, and spend most of their free time outdoors in the North Georgia mountains. She is a member of Northway Church in Macon where she is active in the choir ministry and leads a weekly Bible study for women.
